I always thought about minimalism as being an extreme way to live. But now I understand how you can define minimalism to fit your lifestyle, making it feel achievable. The more and more I declutter and organize for people. the more and more I declutter my own home. There really is truth to "if you do something enough, it really does make you want to do it more" especially when you see the effects and feel the reward.
Think about it, how much does your stuff get in your way? Even if it's organized? Does it still occupy too much space in your mind? Maybe the "stuff" represents things you want to do , but never get around to. Maybe it represents a feeling of lost time, a lost opportunity, or memories you wish you had more time to make.
Now , eliminate that stuff, or seriously reduce it. And see how that feels. See how that opens doors of opportunity for you and your family.
It truly is freeing.
Try it, and then share with someone how it changed your life.
I promise , it will.
